If some one could help me out with this I would appreciate it. All you have to do is tell the little guy in my head (yes the voice that I converse with in my head is male) that way he can repeat it back to me a hundred times. I am the type of person who learns by repetition.

By the way the voice of my conscience is female. I guess the little man voice is like my learning coach. It probably does NOT come from any notion that I identify as male. I think it probably does have something to do with the fact that my mother worked during the day and my grandmother next door cooked most of the day. Thus I logged many hours outside in either my fathers garage or next door in my grandfathers garage. Both of them built things, which I would watch and ask "why, how" and then some more of "how & why." yah, so the little man voice is a combination of these two men. Or not, I guess it depends on your scale of amazing. Getting to the point, my co-worker, a nineteen year old high school drop out received an anonymous card in an plain envelope. This envelope was given to her by a random customer who had nothing to do with the contents. Inside she found a greeting card with a long letter written on the inside cover. Along with the letter were 10 one-hundred dollar bills. YA, das right, some random person had just given her $1000 for no reason.* I wonder how often this happens in NYC.

*In the letter portion there was a hint as to her sexual availability and sexual preference, i.e. perhaps you will spend this on school, or with your husband or boyfriend. In the cosmetic section they had a sub-section labeled "ethnic" pictured under this was a black woman. All the products were for black people. In the next sub-section were generalized Hispanic products and it was labeled "Hispanic." So this means that apparently I was wrong in my previous post. I was referring to recent immigrants as "ethnics" when apparently they are not. Black people are "ethnic", Hispanics are "Hispanic" and generally "white" people are without any culture or ethnicity and devoid of labels. Well, technically I guess according to the drug store, they fall under the label of "cosmetics." I assume this because under this label were pictures of "white" people and "white" products. It's good to know that some one is using these labels for a good cause. Well there are a few good things about being 2000 miles away from my family and friends. 1) My 'hood in the NYC is home to fairly recent "ethnics." You know, those people that are imported. This means that unlike Idaho, most stores remain open for at least most of the day. Turkey Day is not a very deep rooted tradition for most of them. It is still an excuse to “holiday” however. Ya, so anyways…2) It provides an opportunity to get up at the butt-ass crack of dawn, in the damn cold and rain to attend the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Day Parade. The only reason I have for doing this is to snap some photos for my lovely mother…Momphonix.

Did I say a few good things about turkey day? Well I meant two and they barely make the list.

What is it.

Loosing love is the single most challenging, non-rational thing that one must face.
Loosing love means; 1) you are a looser, 2) you are unworthy, & 3) your love is not reciprocated.

Lying is a very complicated issue. At the moment, I do believe that lying to the ones you love to spare them embarrassment and/or sorrow is perfectly acceptable.* Maybe I'm just weak at the moment. The fact that my heart, which is usually in my chest area, is now officially on the floor probably leads me to this conclusion. However, I would choose a single lie to give to a loved one...that my love is unconditional.

*This view is subject to change at any time without notice.

Dear Hillary,

Dear Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton,

Please do NOT make a run for the Office of United States President in 2008. In early America, "mugwump," our version of the Native American "mugquomp," was sometimes jestingly applied to someone who was the "head guy." The first political mugwumps were Republicans in the presidential race of 1884 who chose to support Democratic candidate Grover Cleveland rather than their own party's nominee. Their independence prompted one 1930s humorist to define a mugwump as "a bird who sits with its mug on one side of the fence and its wump on the other."

*And here I thought it was a racially derogatory term.
